Pretty much the day I met her.

So…
This is so American Soap it’s making me double check the show I was reading about.
I think there is more going on. Much like the week Lachlan was found out, I think there will be a ton of surprises. We have so much to look forward to that its an embarrassment of riches. We have Aaron being worried for Robert. Supporting him. It’s not 2017, I don’t see Robert hiding anything from Aaron. We have stag do’s! YES! Also…um…that small thing called A WEDDING! Legal wedding! My friends, good things are coming.
On a clinical note: Robert brought the Whites in. He has to take them out. ‘Take them out’ being less ominous. He has to be the good guy now because Robert has grown. He isn’t thinking of himself or his feelings. He is thinking of Seb. I know its annoying and I will say this, don’t like Rebecca, but I get it. Robert is scared of Seb having the same life as him. No mother. Interestingly enough, Seb has Aaron, Liv and the Dingles and Sugdens on his side. I think he will be ok.
Also, this seems like we are playing out contracts now. Filling out contracts. Wasting time. Mostly because things on the timeline are a bet screwy. I still maintain Rebecca is being written off. My guess? She might be off to a place that can handle her brain injury nearby so she can see Seb. Also, it gives the writers a chance to have Robert and Aaron go with Seb over there whenever there is a vacation.
Eh…what do I know?
One more note: We have ourselves a new leak. Maybe the show should take care of that before they think they are EO and get too big for their britches? Not cool.
*claps* Let’s get this going! *unclaps*
Day Two: Food as Fuel
So, I woke up a bit late. Too late to exercise. It’s ok. I get up, grab my coffee and decide if I should eat. Things are different today since I am heading to work. Where I sit a lot at a computer. So, I decided to eat a bagel with the recommended amount of cream cheese.
That is when I remembered a lesson. Food isn’t the enemy. Not something to be eaten mindlessly. Food is fuel for the day. Food is what gets my body from point A to point B. That plays into listening to my stomach. When the fuel runs out its time to listen to my stomach and fill back up. Get to Point C.
I will have to make sure I don’t have pit stops along the way. My office is famous for free donuts and candy at a moments notice. I get stressed easily so that could be a possibility. I will track it and keep moving.
Wish me luck!
oh hey! only two weeks til actual wedding spoilers though!
Back to the beginning.
Deep breaths. Don’t overstress yourself. Take it one step at a time.
those posts criticizing common writing patterns in fanfiction are so fucking harmful and they ruined me
so like yknow what??? People tell you to avoid “smirk” and “chuckle” as descriptors because no one does those things (???) but then when I need to use those words I have a ten minute crisis about how I’m a shitty writer. So heres my unwarranted writing advice: If you want your characters to smirk and chuckle fucking let them and don’t let anyone tell you that no one smirks or chuckles because I do both on a daily basis whenever I tell a shitty pun, bye
Edgy fanfiction critics can eat my entire ass.
I see people putting some wishes for future Robron moments or scenes.
So, I’ll throw my hat into the ring.
I want to see a date. A full blown date. Aaron and Robert doing the meet at the door. Walk or drive to a restaurant. Have a nice dinner. Drinks. Walk home. Kiss at the door only to have Aaron grab Robert by the collar and drag him upstairs.
Yeah…that would be nice.

me to me: you stress me out
Right my dudes, I wanna talk about how the advice of “real writers write every day” is damaging af.
Sure, it sounds good on paper, but as soon as you realise that a lot of writers (especially on tumblr) are 1) perfectionists 2) anxious messes 3) don’t have the best mental health situations you start to see really unhealthy behaviours being shown. Like, I’ve seen people on here work themselves to burnout then try to write through it, beat themselves up and berate themselves for only writing a little bit or not at all, and I myself have a habit of obsessive and unhealthy workaholic tendencies aka my dad said he was taking a day off a few days ago and my reply was “lol whats that” because i’ll work myself till im ill because im being productive so its okay.
But it isn’t. Not really.
I think we all need to have a talk about how its okay to take breaks and that the ‘write something every day’ thought is kinda a screwy thing to tell young writers and we need to look out for each other. I know there are healthy ways of writing everyday (
I’ll write 100 words today bc progress is still progress etc) which is fine and good !!!! but its needs to become a thing where it is totally a ok to take a break and read a good book or watch netflix instead for the day my dudes
