Today has been such a hard day.

Kate Valentine, or Katherine Noel Brosnahan, known as “Kate Spade” in the fashion world, passed today.

A woman I looked up to for years. A woman who inspired me. Who empowered women around the globe and made you feel special every time you wore her clothes, added her jewelry to your collection, spiced up your outfit with a unique or classy purse or an accessory or shoes, added a cute decoration to your home, or even a touch of sweetness with her perfume.

She wasn’t just a designer, she was a wife and a mother, and someone who created a world filled with creativity, vibrancy, and color, who, unfortunately, had demons she was dealing with too. It goes to show that you really don’t know what someone is going through.

May Kate Rest In Peace, as well as sending prayers to her family & friends. Her legacy will live on forever. 💕
