Aaron immediately knew that and did his best to make him feel better and get him to stop blaming himself.
Liv also researched and told him to stop assuming he was guilty. (Also one of my fave moments is that scene when Liv starts saying it’s not common for the gas to do that and Rob is like “please stop I already feel horrible about this” and Aaron, who has been watching him the whole time, turns and gives Liv this “WHY are you making our Robert feel bad, Olivia?!” look. I LOVED THAT LOL)
Then there’s Paddy who as soon as Robert starts being suspicious of Lachlan does that coming to attention and sort of starts to back him up.
Literally, those scenes at The Mill were a blessing. They flat out showed all the ways they are all a family which we had seen small hints of before but it is nice to get it right in our faces for those who sort of need to see it.
i sure had my problems with iain, but this whole “time to rebuild emmerdale” attitude is such a joke considering that just going off of viewing figures and especially award recognition the show objectively improved throughout his reign compared to the kate oates days. also i´ve said it before and i´ll say it again, there´d be no robron today, if she´d continued.
*whispers* this is the kind of angst I love, they’re going through something together and it’s not something getting between them, they’re stronger than ever and willing to do anything to keep each other safe, and they’re going to get the ownership of their house and business back as a team *runs*
