who do you think is getting married at xmas? danny said last night the wedding might seem out of the blue, do you think he meant for the viewers or someone surprises their partner with a xmas day wedding? jane hudson said it will bring a different flavour to the village than we’ve had before, what does that even mean?

i think (and i have done since the beginning) that it’ll be sam and lydia but other people who are in the running include, but not limited to

– vanessa and charity (please god no)

– paddy and chas (please god no) however, there’s drama to be had with this one because of mandy coming back so 👀👀👀

they’ve essentially done it all on emmerdale when it comes to weddings, so nothing would be a “different flavour” (wtf even is that jane)

Graham marries Kim in prison.

Frank and Clive get fake!married for a con – and then find out it was actually the real deal and they’re actually legally married.

What about Pete and Rhona? That would be out of the blue since they aren’t engaged or anything.

I would like it to be Sam and Lydia though.

I think the wedding is…

Rodney and Brenda.

YEAH. I said it.

(I really want it to be Lydia and Sam. They have been engaged for so long. Anyone but Vanity to be fair)

Remember three weeks before the reunion?

There were a lot of spoilers that didn’t look great, and nothing seemed to fit. Everything felt negative, and some even speculated that the show wasn’t reuniting them after all?

Then out of nowhere, all the pieces came together to create a fun, positive experience watching Robert and Aaron find their way back?

What is happening on the show right now reminds me of that. None of the spoilers connect or make sense. People can easily be cynical about what is coming. However, as we get closer things will make sense and even lead us to something greater.

Just have to wait it out.

Read you theory post, loved it!! Love reading all your theories! I can honestly see Rebecca dying because they are planting the seeds of Aaron adopting seb and he can’t if Rebecca is alive. Plus the magazine keep saying Rebecca and death. I feel like the feet in the sand of SSW 2016 showed the order the whites will die and showed lachlan overall to show he will kill them. My guess

Hi! Thank you for reading my theory post! ❤

I mean, the magazines always speculate doesn’t mean its true. However, you are right, there are seeds being planted that she might not make it. I am still convinced that either way, after all, is said and done, the Whites will be off the show for good.  They served their purpose once Lachlan is taken down.

The ‘Feed in the Sand’ theory does seem to be coming true. I agree. There is no set of feet that aren’t accounted for. I guessed Ross or Belle which before in 2017 it didn’t fit but now…hmmmm…yes…Ross isn’t going to be with us for much longer. So, we shall see!

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

I saw somebody suggest that maybe the direction they had for Joe was scrapped when Mike Parr quit, I don’t know if there’s any truth to it or not but it would make the fairly sudden switch in how they’re presenting him (and how characters react to him) make sense, and it’d also makes sense of his fairly shite “redemption” arc and his general aimlessness now.

You know what? That makes sense to me. I kind of wondered if the Ross pretending to be Joe’s driver/bodyguard storyline was meant to go on longer than it did. It got cut short and I thought it would have been an interesting story if it continued. Maybe Ross and Joe would have become friends. Hmmmm….I guess we will never know. Now I want to know…any fanfiction writers out there…lets do this.

BTW…Joe’s ‘redepmption’ arc was so secret I didn’t even know it happened. lol

A small part of me wants Lachlan to kidnap Robert on their wedding day, only he thinks this might be part of a joke Aaron is playing on him, like what Cain did to him on their last wedding day. But when he realises it’s Lachlan trying to cover his tracks (terribly), he tries to reason with him — while kind of critiquing his crime covering up method, because let’s be real, he can’t help himself — and maybe offering to help Lachlan in an effort to buy time and think his way out of this. (“Look, we can both walk away from this. It’s not the first time I’ve had to cover up something on my wedding day.”)

Meanwhile, Aaron gets worried when no one’s seen Robert and he’s not answering his phone. So he uses the phone tracking app that his paranoid blonde husband installed on the entire family’s phones after Aaron’s kidnapping, he’s able to track them down to what will probably be the Dingle’s barn (because no one would think to look for Robert at Whingles HQ), where he’ll hear Robert mouthing off and it’ll give him enough time to distract Lachlan and untie him, while still getting flirted with (“What?” “Nothing. Just taking a moment to appreciate you in that suit.”), before they can take him down together in some kind of big fight. And maybe by now, Cain, and Belle, and the rest of the Dingles get involved, since it’s fitting that his new family hear what happened.

Anyway, later, when everything is over Aaron insists on taking Robert to the hospital to get checked out, but he refuses because nothing is going to get in the way of their wedding day again. (“Think I’m going to wait any longer to marry you?”) So they end up getting married after all, only now with plenty of fairy lights and candles in that barn instead of all the sunlight Robert had been hoping for. But no one really minds because they’re just happy to have made it down the aisle.

I think Lachlan will go after a few characters, not just Rebecca. I can see a hostage situation, similar to Cameron a few years ago.

@amandaj718 and I have been speculating on this for ages and I would love it!

I love the Woolpack siege episodes so much. I’d like it to be mixed up a little so it’s not a direct copy but yeah, anything dramatic like that, sign me up.

Imagine though if Aaron’s inside wherever and Robert’s outside. That village better watch out, he’ll tear it apart. In fact they both would.

*whispers* wedding siege anyone?

*chants* Wedding Seige! Wedding Siege! Wedding Seige! *stops chanting* 😉
