Carl from what I remember is maybe Robert in reverse…kind of. He started off as the good one, the baby of the family and then progressively got worse, whereas Robert has been redeemed as he and Aaron have got together.

I think they definitely could’ve had him be worthy of Chas in the end. Damn Cameron and his murder rock (thank you @amandaj718. I wonder if it’s the same rock/brick)
