Make sure they are somebody who lets you cry, too. Despair will come. Find someone you want to be there through those times. Most importantly, marry the one that makes passion, love and madness combine and course through you. A love that will never dilute. Even when the waters get deep and dark.

Let’s not sleep on the fact that Robert fought to bring Aaron home, even when he was hating himself and thought he didn’t deserve to have Aaron anymore, even when he was suffocating in guilt and shame he still put his all into getting Aaron out of prison and doing everything he could to make Aaron happy…the man pushed down everything he was feeling and all his self-hatred to do everything he could to build a home for Aaron, to build a life where he and Aaron could be together, in canon he would have given everything and anything to see Aaron free and happy…I don’t want to hear “but he did give up on Aaron” LISTEN the show worked damn hard to explain Robert’s perspective and show his dedication to bringing Aaron home, and he did bring Aaron home, that shouldn’t be erased
