Their first reunion was just the best thing…loved every part of it…you could just feel how relieved and happy they both were in that moment…to finally be together again…TO FINALLY BE HOME AGAIN…where they belong…
The kiss will always be one of my faves and the hug…the hug was just perfect…
not to forget roberts little flick to aaron lips just before he goes in … it’s like he can’t believe this is happening before it’s even happened !!!!!!
Omg you guys, the first reunion will forever be my absolute favourite scene. It’s so soft and they way they are just so relieved to be back in each other’s arms. That kiss always gives me the feels every time. Robert just goes straight in because he really can’t wait, I love it! 😭😭😭
I’m adding this 🙂
and let’s not obershadow the SOFTEST post reunion scene!!!!!! because this is Fluff overload. straight from a fanfic his scene was 💞💓💞💓💞💓💞
british soaps are so dramatic and i know that’s the whole point of them but they’ll go from ‘just another day on t’cobbles’ to ten people dying because someone planted a pipe bomb outside a traveling circus
The thing is with Van*ty (and I love both characters) is that their relationship feels so hollow. The writing feels kinda sachrine because there’s no effort (writing wise) behind the relationship. The quickest way to investment is have them fight for each other against the internal obstacles in their relationship. They’re so different and yet Emmerdale writes them almost in this bland homogeneous way. Their differences are played as like minor quirks. Every time they approach conflict, it’s swerved. They underplay it, gloss over it. They never clash in a real way. And Charity’s mess is the most interesting part of her as a person. But in this relationship it’s so muted. I don’t hate them, I just find the writing so lazy and generic.
