I obviously loved Robert touching Aaron and how soft he was. I am upset the show cut off what seems like Aaron reciprocating the touch, but can still sleep well at night believing that it happened.

However. Can we please talk about how Aaron is stroking his own arm in the first gif? It’s the same gesture he used when he was trying to calm down and reassure Robert whenever his husband got himself seriously hurt. And it makes me wanna ugly cry because that gif is where Robert is talking about the possibility of something happening to him, of him not being there and I just can’t with Danny’s gesture that tells me Aaron has to physically calm himself down because of that thought, so he can even for a brief second smile at his husband, like he feels Robert needs him to. Also, it’s a new coping mechanism? Where in the past he might have self harmed in one way or another, now he’s self calming and I just adore how far he’s come. He’s beautiful and caring and strong and has developed in so many ways. They still need to properly talk, but this moment here has its own kind of beauty.
