I don’t know, lads, but we spent a year being sad and angry and miserable. We had to watch our couple spiral and break and spiral some more and do some very not ok things and be apart with little to no actual interaction.

Then we got to see them get closer, be afraid, frustrate us with other people in the way, and FINALLY got one of the most EPIC flipping reunions ever.

Now they are happy and settled and in love (and if it is physical affection you need tell me did Cain and Moira have any today? Or more than a couple of scenes since THEY reunited? I’m just saying. This show does not do affection unless it is to establish a couple, reunite a couple or for plot ¯_(ツ)_/¯) and the show is showing them working on building a family together. They are the supporting players in other stories.

The content is happy and domestic (which I have seen this fandom BEG for for YEARS) and grounded. I mean, if that isn’t your jam then cool – wait a few weeks for the drama that is gonna kick off – but I for one am so thrilled at this breather because last year was hell.

I’ll take boring, happy shit rn. I’ll take a grounded, boring, happy Robert (I mean it is not like he isn’t causing drama with Joe or anything, is it?) I’ll take a happy, grounded Aaron. I’ll take quiet, family scenes. I’ll take them not being able to be more than a few inches apart.

I will take it all after last year. All of it.
